IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT ART AND DRAMA MAKEUP AUDITIONS ON FEBRUARY 20, 2010

All Art and Drama make-up auditions (due to inclement weather) will be held at Meredith College on February 20, 2010 in the afternoon. Nominees should disregard specific times and buildings noted in their January invitation letter. The schedule for Saturday, February 20th, is as follows:

  • 1:00 p.m. - All nominees auditioning in either Art or Drama may check in at the Ledford Building. It is location #3 on the Meredith campus map found at www.meredith.edu/about/campus-map.htm. Arrive on campus using the Hillsborough Street entrance. A loading area between the Science&Math Building and the Ledford Building will be made available for dropping off only Art nominees and their artwork. Vehicles must immediately proceed to Parking Area 4 or 5; they MAY NOT park in Lot 19. Drama nominees should park in Parking Area 4 or 5 and proceed to the Ledford Building. Upon check-in, Art and Drama nominees will be given a copy of the audition order list, which will be strictly enforced. Art nominees also will be directed to the specific location where they can display their artwork. Nominees should still follow all other relevant instructions on their January invitation letter.
  • 1:45 p.m. - The informational meeting for all parents and nominees will be held in Room 101 of the Ledford Building. At the conclusion of the meeting, nominees will be directed to their specific audition rooms/areas.
  • 2:00 p.m. - Auditions commence.

Remember that the make-up session is only for Art and Drama. Choral Music, Instrumental Music and Dance will be held as scheduled on February 13, 2010. There will not be make-up auditions for those areas.
