January 31, 2009	Governor's School Auditions in Choral Music to be held at Meredith College, Raleigh, NC. All students who are nominated in Choral Music and who meet the eligibility requirements for Governor's School will be notified individually and invited to audition.
February 7, 2009	Governor's School Auditions in Instrumental Music to be held at Meredith College, Raleigh, NC. All students who are nominated in Instrumental Music and who meet the eligibility requirements for Governor's School will be notified individually and invited to audition.
February 14, 2009	Governor's School Auditions in Art, Dance, and Drama to be held at Meredith College, Raleigh, NC. All students who are nominated in Art, Dance, and Drama and who meet the eligibility requirements for Governor's School will be notified individually and invited to audition.
March 13 , 2009	Notification of students selected to attend the 2009 session of the Governor's School is mailed to superintendents, headmasters of non-public schools, and the directors of charter schools.
March 20, 2009	Notification of selection/non-selection mailed to students.
April 10, 2009	Deadline for acceptance from selected students.
June 14, 2009	Opening day of the 2009 session of the Governor's School.
July 2, 2009	Parents' Day.
July 2 - July 5, 2009	Break in session.
July 25, 2009	Last day of the 2009 session of the Governor's School.
