The Department of Public Instruction will input your basic information into the BEACON system based on your employment application.

To manage your personal information, first you must have a valid username and password with the North Carolina Identity Management Service (NCID). If you already have an NCID username and password, no further action is necessary at this time. If not, you must register immediately with NCID.
