Do not mail in this form. This will be completed in person at your Governor's School campus with a DPI employee within your first three days of employment. See the form for official documentation you MUST bring; photocopies are not acceptable.

- NCID/BEACON
- All employees of the State of North Carolina,
including temporary employees, will be registered with BEACON, which is the State's
online management system for payroll, accounting and other functions. When you
are fully registered you will be able to enter the BEACON
Portal and manage your personal information, receive pay statements online
for Governor's School and any other State employment, and perform other related
tasks.
- The Department of Public Instruction will input your basic information
into the BEACON system based on your employment application.
- To manage your personal information, first you must have a valid username and password with the North Carolina Identity Management Service (NCID). If you already have an NCID username and password, no further action is necessary at this time. If not, you must register immediately with NCID. If you have any difficulty with your NCID, please contact the BEACON Enterprise Support Team at 1.866.622.3784.
- All employees of the State of North Carolina,
