February 12, 2005 Governor's School Auditions in the Performing/Visual Arts – Art, Choral Music, Dance, Drama, and Instrumental Music to be held at Meredith College, Raleigh, NC. All students who are nominated in these areas and who meet the eligibility requirements for Governor's School will be notified individually and invited to audition.
March 11, 2005 Notification of students selected to attend the 2005 session of the Governor's School is mailed to superintendents, headmasters of non-public schools, and the directors of charter schools.
March 18, 2005 Notification of selection mailed to students.
April 15, 2005 Deadline for acceptance from selected students.
June 12, 2005 Opening day of the 2005 session of the Governor's School.
July 2, 2005 Parents' Day.
July 2 - July 5, 2005 Break in session.
